Quenching Basket by Pruciak

Quencher basket by Pruciak for repeatable hardening of blanks in the furnace. It holds up to 9 blanks at once, speeding up work in the knifemaking workshop. The blanks sit stably in the chamber for even heating and safe transfer to the quenching medium. For larger parts, a maximum of 5 at a time is recommended.

Made of 304 stainless steel 3 mm thick, giving rigidity, durability and heat resistance. The modular three-part design assembles and disassembles without tools, and a latch on the handles secures the basket against accidental opening. A gripper for inserting and removing the basket is included and holds it steady even when guided almost vertically.

Assemble the basket, load the blanks and place it in the furnace with the supplied gripper. After soaking, lift the basket out and transfer the parts to the quenching medium.
